We wish to inform you that Giardina Group Srl (the « Company ») will process your personal data in compliance with current personal data protection provisions and, in particular, EU Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (hereinafter the“GDPR”); as such, in accordance with article 13 of the GDPR, we hereby provide you with the following information:
The data provided by you will be processed:
to handle your requests, where possible;
to comply with obligations arising from the law, regulations and, in general, standards, including EC standards, that apply at any given time to the relationship entered into with our Company;
to comply with organisational, administrative, accounting and fiscal requirements associated with the services or tasks you have requested of the Company;
to offer you promotions, discounts, benefits and other services, as well as to send you our newsletter, marketing and/or promotional information and notice of free products, to invite you to shows and/or events, or to perform market research and notify you of all special initiatives aimed at the Company’s clients.
If (and only if) it is necessary for the purposes of satisfying your requests, the Company may ask you to provide further information in addition to that collected to date. Our Company reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to erase any data sent by you that is not deemed pertinent and necessary for the purposes of handling your requests.
Processing will be based on the need to comply with pre-contractual, contractual and legal obligations. Your data may only be processed for the marketing purposes referred to in point (d) paragraph 1 above if you have provided your free and express consent.
Any refusal to provide the data required to perform the service or task requested will result in our Company being unable to provide all or part of the service or task in question. Failure to provide consent (or withdrawal of the same) for the purposes referred to in point (d) paragraph 1, will simply result in our Company being unable to process the data for marketing purposes: under no circumstances will failure to consent to the processing of your data for such purposes prevent you from purchasing our products and/or using our services.
Your data will not be disseminated. They may be accessed by Company employees and collaborators, in their capacity as data processors, and by service providers with whom the Company collaborates (couriers, shipping providers, etc.), only if it is strictly necessary for the purposes of handling and performing the service or task requested by you, and in order to ensure that the data is accurate and up-to-date at all times. They may be sent to consultants, professionals and institutes – including private parties – (accountants, auditors, banks, insurance companies, etc.) with whom our Company collaborates, always and exclusively for the purposes of providing the service and/or task requested by you. Data required to ensure compliance with applicable regulations governing the relationship entered into and/or to uphold a right of the Controller, including in legal cases, may be sent to law firms and/or lawyers. Finally, the data will be accessible to parties tasked with performing the maintenance/development services for our IT system, for the amount of time strictly required to perform that service.
Your data will be stored for the period of time strictly necessary to fulfil the objectives for which they are collected, with the exception of cases in which it is necessary to store them for longer to comply with applicable regulations, including accounting regulations, or to uphold a right of the Controller, including in legal cases. You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data for marketing purposes at any time and, in particular, you will be given the opportunity to do so each time you receive a marketing message. If you withdraw your consent, the Company will no longer be able to process the data relating to you for the purposes to which the consent refers. Under no circumstances, however, can withdrawal of consent affect the legality of processing performed prior to that withdrawal.
