Giardina Group at WoodTech Istanbul: hall 11, booth 1131

From October 12 to 16, Giardina Group, the Italian group specialized in painting and finishing solutions, will participate in WoodTech Istanbul. “An important market and very responsive to our technologies”, commented Stefano Tibè, the group’s sales director. “At the fair, we will bring a roller coating line dedicated to the application of UV primers on 3D surfaces- Among the machines in this line, the ultimate-generation “Rolltech Flexi” spreader excels, an ideal solution for roller coating, a patented project that we presented in 2022 and renewed this year”.

“ROLLTECH FLEXI”

“Rolltech Flexi” is a new-generation coating machine that combines the quest for the highest quality of coating with the increasingly pressing need to optimize costs and reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere-it is ideal for treating not only flat, but also 3D surfaces, such as interior doors, kitchen doors, panels for furniture, construction, and all those substrates that need to be painted.
Among the main strengths of “Rolltech Flexi” are the large size of the rollers: the applicator roller, in fact, is 400 millimeters, while the metering roller reaches 260 millimeters.
The large size of the roller makes it possible to have a larger contact surface between the applicator roller and the substrate to be painted, with a wider coverage of the same; a reduction of accumulations on the edges of the substrate to be painted; a decrease in the mechanical stress of the applicator roller; and the possibility of working with greater pressure on the product thanks to the high solidity of the machine. In addition, the entire coating unit can be tilted with respect to the feed axis of the substrate to be painted further increasing the advantages obtained from the large size of the rollers. In addition to the “Rolltech Flexi” coater, the “Rolltech G02/05 reverse” coater and the “UVtech-GST1401/3” oven stand out.
